I take back my words two posts before!
the one abt love.
-period-

I wonder how some people can always seemingly make every day and everything a funny, enjoyable, lighthearted day, making humour out of every single thing.
Yet some people choose to dwell on the deepest and darkest of moments every day. No light at the tunnel for them, or simply just a confused mind obscuring that small speck of light.
Thats what I call the difference between the positive-minded and the negative-minded, in other words, the optimistic and the pessimistic.

Come on, lets analyse this.
People who are optimistic are people who draw stength from successes, and from mutual encouragements. They never think of failures as a failure, but as a starting point all over again. A point for them to re-plot their success route.
In contrast, people who are pessimists are usually people who are over-sensitive as well. The thing is, they are never oversensitive over the good things happening to them. But instead, they choose to be oversensitive over negative things which befall them. In my theory, its called selective pessimism. They always dwell on their failures, and yes, they draw strength from the ir failures, or rather they draw pessimism from their failures, so they keep on failing.

In the TYL book of psychology, everyone possesses both characteristics, just in different magnitudes and degrees.
In general, I would like to believe ,that most people posessess the characteristic of the former!
But the former requires a lot of patience and tolerance. In fact as people meet their inevitable misadventures in life, they lose a lot of patience, and yes, the energy to keep on going. For the truly optimistic people, their energy fuels on, because, they see failure as nothing more to lose. For example, they believe in the mentality " Since Ive lost already, what else more to lose? " , so they continue to plough on, achieving small successes at a time, to the eventual windfall.
However, for the latter, as Ive said, their energy is drained. They view life as a drone, and a suffering. They never view life as a hope, and any form of hope is banished to become something that wil heighten their suffering. ( this is probably not too reliable a hypothesis yet, according to the author)

Hope is a chain reaction. Likewise, gloom is a chain reaction too.
So lets take the first path!
