Nobody said it was easy, and it never was.

Waves of sadness
Impending departures
When, we ask, will we reunite?
Haversacks of memories
Kept there for a lifetime?
Or, up in that crevice where memories holds
Or, in those hearts,
Accentuated by love and friendship.

From strangers
where unfamilarity floods.
With unknowing forces,
brought together.
With dwindling numbers
Yet undying affections
From a bunch of pure dedication.
Two came
And completion settled.

Anguish and love
Despair and friendships
All parts of the journey.
That lonesome plea of help
Complemented and accentuated
With the self-assuring pat on the back
and the arduous push of the log.

Groans and helplessness.
Naught.
With the strength of thirteen
Nothing is impossible.
Initial loss
but pure love brought us together.
Direction came
With elation and determination.
Convinced were we.
Of the lesssons
And legacy
Printed,
by sweat, tears and blood.

You left your mark and left.
Realisation.
Regret?
Or is it all too common.
Where our history lies.

Down to twelve.
The strength of twelve.
Undermined never.
For we were unbeatable.
Events of tradition
and thoughts of the new.
All brought together
with dedication and love.

Quarrells, complains
Inevitable in a life of hiccups.
Yet the saying of the blood , sweat and tears
Tells us
The strong survives.

Whats left
Haversacks of memories
Minds of lessons
Thoughts and stories
Hearts with love.

Its the time.
The flame to be passed on.
the blood, sweat and tears unite.
to tell the same story.
To pass on the legacy.
Did we?
