i FINALLY decided to blog!

im back from my march expedition!

i can say: it was a surprise. and yes. i did learn a lot of things. a lot abt myself, my team, the different individuals, the snrs, outdoor skills, a lot abt the ghastly things in tj. and of course, i did increase my faith in god.

the most important thing i realised..
was my faith in others, my faith in myself and my faith in god.

i mean i never regretted this trip. be it the countless casualties(lucky not me), the countless bruises, the immense pain in my toes, the sore throats, the scoldings, the rains etc. i mean i nvr regretted it nor want to forget it.

i can say the first day was merely a breeze.
sat- afternoon came to sch to pack our bags. was actually yearning fior wanling to come cos heard alot abt her as an oac grand-snr but not as mu cousin. i mean lucky she didnt come or i wouldnt know how to react. took train to tanjong pagar. can admit that on the mrt we did have fun talking to the snrs. jinhe that donggua always so funny de..haha..then took train.sat with yinwei. really had fun singing all those jay chou songs.i mean it did lighten up the mood. so glad to know that weikheam knew the songs too.can sing together and lighten the mood. during the train ride it as soo fun laughing at those snr couples sleeping together eh. then hear samantha complain abt vicky 'crossing boundary' .so funny.

sunday- we arrived at a malay village to have lunch. the toilet was...erm...fear factor eh! ok..then after that we went caving at the kris caves which was a look-alike of the all-too-familiar batu caves. with the interesting limestone and stalactites and stalagmites. so interesting when geog comes into play. then it was our 4 hr trek uphill to the campsite of gunung ayam. i mean to say it was the toughest trek outta the entire expedition. my bag was damn heavy with all teh canned food.
immense thanks to huiqun- she carried my ton-heavy bag for me.or else i wouldnt be able to make it. seriously.another pt to ponder. i really wonder if huiqun was really that superwoman. at least she looked superwoman to me. xiaowei said she saw her looking very tired while carrying my bag. i mean seriously, even though u r my snr and u might not carry my bag..tell me can..cos after all the bag is mine and i have a responsility to carry it..i rather carry it and tire myself than see u tire urself out becos of my bag. i mean i nvr say its her fault.its just that issit really that impt for snrs to look tough in front of us jnrs? after all, the snrs r still humans, rite? why?why like dat? really wanted to ask that during evaluation..

monday- set off from campsite and trekked non-stop to summit of mount ayam.at night b4 all of us heard it was a hard day do we couldnt really sleep. true it was stressing to trek behind mingwei.that guy forever has a black face de. i mean every1 tells me he's a nice guy and blah blah...but his face simply scared me off at times. i mean i tried to talk and really i did. i mean i know he's nice..or he wouldnt help me carry the gas canisters. but somehow that face of his ah..aiya..haiz..ok so we made it up the summit of gunung ayam..so damning cold at night. iadmit i was feeling pissed when the snrs called us out to scold us in the middle of the night. it was no wonder alot of pple fell sick after that night.

tuesday- mingwei informed us it was gg to be a tight schedule cos we had a train to catch back to spore. that explains the tense situation at the front of the trekking team. esp when it started to rain at mount bahar. plus when the grounds were wet and we were making slow progress. at first walking behind huiqun and youcai was better. at least they were talking to 1 another and i could talk to yinwei too. behind mingwei was badd ok! he walked quite fast...i know now how jinhe felt..i wouldnt want to walk behind KG too..also dunno what to say de..plus see him always rush pple..like we r sheep 2b rushed like that..yar..so we couldnt make it up gunung stong as expected.knew kimberley and samantha were really upset. i mean i could see pple starting to fall sick from there. esp when xiaowei nearly rolled down the hill.. i realised how small and helpless we were out in the open out there. somehow anything could happen out there. i was really scared..i prayed and prayed and prayed..yes..esp while on the steep vertical hill which we had to abseil down..i really was scared..

wednesday- on the train taking care of liyuan and kimberley.so worried for yinwei.she always very chen qiang. sometimes if she might not be able to do things she will say she can..i mean i could see her fall alot of times up in the mountains. the snrs too..huiqun's face was swollen and she told me she was ok when we was obvioulsy not..zach too..he looked damn pale..i mean as a TEAM..i really would like to help in taking care of them too..i mean as part of OAC..let me have the chance?

ok here i am. fresh outta expe. evaluation sucks for me..it sucks...being the last person to be called for evaluation.it feels forgotten...and it really sucks can..i told them straight in their face! it sucks..ok..i mean i would and could have said more substantial stuff if i wasnt the last though. if not for my bad mood. ok the video mr lim took was amazing.and farni yar..helped distract me from my bad mood.
i mean to say it was a good experience and i am truly surprised that i was the one of the only 2 girls who didnt fall sick. when i knew i was weak physically. truly i was surprised.
i mean to thank every1 for this great learning experience de. the snrs, teachers and most importantly my team!!! jinhe, weikheam, yinwei, waikit, xiaowei, samantha, kimberley, engwei and liyuan. i mean expe wouldnt be fun without u guys and the snrs.
truly a grat learning experience and i really thank god for it.
hope we can climb stong together again! and mt tahan!!! the toughest mt in msia!hope we can do it de! cheers to oac!
